It all started when…
Kirsten and Anna had an idea. What if public health could be simpler? More efficient, more community-based, more empowering.
Yarrow co-founders Kirsten Krane and Anna Schmitt created Yarrow out of a necessity they saw from experience in the field. Different funding streams and systems made the landscape confusing to navigate for even the most experienced public health professionals. By combining their capacity for problem solving, Kirsten and Anna decided they could offer more to the communities in which they worked by creating Yarrow.
Yarrow strives to utilize contemporary and culturally appropriate methods in order to create more effective, efficient, and healthier communities through an evaluation lens.
Yarrow is a Montana-based consulting organization committed to empowering public health. We focus on issues affecting rural and Native communities.
